Copied From Anotehr Guild - Useful Tips Empty Copied From Anotehr Guild - Useful Tips

Post  King Lair Fri Aug 10, 2012 3:12 pm

So one of the guys from De Lioncourt (one of the top ranked Alpha Guilds), and their feeder guild (Sam Cro who we have beat down a number of times) sent me a link to their website. There were some useful tips/tricks/advice on there that I thought folks might be interested in. At the very least it is always good to know your enemy right?

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Tips and Tricks
    All Users:

    [u]Guild Monsters:
1.Do not CTA on a guild monster unless guild leaders say so.
1.The advantages is that the more you hit the better equipment you get. If you CTA then outside people can join in and take the equipment you would get. Also when you CTA then you will call in-game help that does lots of damage. If the game does 38mln damage that's 38mln that will not go towards the the monster kill. This will cause epic and legendary items from dropping, as well as minimizing the points receive for the monster fight.
    2.Always Heal and Strength.
1.Rouges and Mages can not heal or strengthen, however, all classes can. These classes are needed to stop some monsters from healing themselves or doing mass damage to the party's health/strength.
2.If health / strength is not full you do not receive max damage. At no strength / health then attacks can be at 25% of normal attack.
3.It is tempting to use your energy on quests to get skill points quicker, however, typically you can get as much or more experience from heal / strength than quests.

    Guild Battles
1.When attacking your defense is 70% of you defense. When defending your attach is 70% of your attack. So swap your Hero's to offset the difference.
2.Do not attack clerics that are higher than you or if you are dead.
1.The reason is that if they kill you or do more damage then everyone in there tower receives 10 health. If everyone but a high level cleric is left in the tower and you get heavily damaged you can cause the other 24 people to receive health and need to be attacked again.
2.If you attack someone that hurts you report this to the guild so that others know to stay away or higher levels know to change focus to them.
3.Communication is the key to win.
1.Make sure if you get in trouble to let your team mates know. If you are about dead and a healer is available they can help you stay alive.
4.Health: Defense and Attack are the two most important attributes, however, don't neglect health.
1.In guild battles your health is 10x your health.
2.So if you have 120 health then you will have 1200 in a guild battle.
3.If you normally lose 70 points per attack then for every 7 health you have you will be able to sustain one more attack before you are stunned.
    5.Quick Stats:
1.An hour prior to a guild battle is to start, If you have Deinira and the Fetivus Sword and you will start with 90 extra health points.
2.If you do not have this but have Darius maxed out you get get 60 extra health points to start
    6.Swap Hero's:
1.If you use up your tokens and waiting to do something switch to a hero that will add extra defense. Switch back to a hero that raises attack before you attack.
    Heros
1.Always study the Hero's you have.
2.Constantly swapping your hero's for the task at hand can help you quickly achieve your goals.
1.As referenced in Guild battles when attacking players you want to swap to a hero that bumps up your attack. When your not playing select someone with a high level of defense.
2.Aeris at level 4 will allow you to bank your money for free. So switch to her and protect your money.
    Demi
1.Always do your Demi Blessing when available. Except for Azeron who only gives you one Stamina every two days you can build your stats. You will also get favor points and some good gear, including 5 Devine items.
1.Note that three of these Devine items are armor and you can only wear one of them at a time.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Rules and Guidelines
The following rules must be held at all times. There is a 3 strike rule and on the third strike you will be permanently banned from the guild. The purpose of the guild is to have fun and grow. The following rules and guidelines were created to ensure that everyone has a good time and everyone is benefited from the guild.

Sam Cro is now a battle focused guild.

    Acceptance to guild:
    1.Must to level 100+
1.Exceptions will be made for existing family members if it is an alt.
2.Must accept these rules and guidelines.

    Guild Monsters:
1.Do not CTA on a guild monster unless guild leaders say so.
1.The advantages is that the more you hit the better equipment you get. If you CTA, then outside people can join in and take the equipment you would get. Also when you CTA, you will call in-game help that does lots of damage. If the game does 38mln damage that's 38mln that will not go towards the the monster kill. This will cause epic and legendary items from dropping, as well as minimizing the points receive for the monster fight.
    2.Always Heal and Strength.
1.Rouges and Mages can not heal or strengthen, however, all other classes can.
3.Never hit below 50% if you under level 250 or 75% if your higher as you will do less damage and waste stamina.
4.Only hit to the Epic Limit until an officer tells you to hit higher.
1.The goal of guild monsters is to grow. If you hit 20m on a monster were 3 epics are guaranteed at 10m then you you just screwed 1-3 people from getting an epic or an extra epic.

    Guild Battles
    1.Must attend 1 to 2 battles a day
1.Guild fights at 5 and 11 Central(UTC-5) AM and PM
2.Do not loose to clerics or mages unless farming mode was initiated by an officer.
1.It's inevitable that you will attack and loose to them. If so let the rest of the guild no who they are so people around your attack power know to stay away.
3.Flip to guild chat from time to time to see if the strategies have changed or if there are specific targets you need to go after.
    4.Always go after actives first.
1.If they can only do 1/2 damage then our guys will last longer.
5.If you see someone close to going under 200 take them out.
6.Do not 0 inactive until leaders tell you too.
7.If you are under 200 and can't gate heal / splash then attack largest actives.
8.Do not attack anyone outside of guild battle. We do not test.
1.The exception is several of there guys test several of our members then it becomes a free for all.
2.If someone tests you and loose it is your right to chain them till they die.

    PvP
    1.Bullying will not be tolerated.
1.Battling is part of the game and I have no objections of people being farmed, however, if they ask you to stop them stop.
2.The exception is if we are protecting someone from another bully and you may bully the bully and if they are an office in another guild who insists on not stopping then there guild is fair play to farm until they accept they agree to stopping.
2.BSI ((Attack+Defense)/Level) must be above 2.0 at all times.
    1.5.0 is the minimum recommended

    Character Builds
We believe in individuality and will never make requests that you must build a certain way outside of BSI or brand your name, etc. We are a family and if everyone was the same the game would be boring. The following is just a list of what we ask you do but will never be a requirement.

    1.Keep your name clean
1.it's not just a rule of the guild but also a Phoenix rule and we don't want to see anyone get kicked out.
    2.Keep a BSI higher than 2.0 (Atk+Def)/Level.
1.This will help keep your character alive in guild battles.
2.Monster hunters 2.7-3.5 is ideal and 5.0 for PvP
    3.Demi-Gods
1.Pray to Aurora until 4500 (Get her amulet)
2.Pray to Azeron until 4500 (Get his sword)
3.Pray to Aurora until 6500 (Get her divine and you'll have 65 extra health points)
4.Pray to Corvintheus or Malekus until 6500 for their divine
5.After this get everyone to 6500 for all items and then do what you want.
6.This path ensures that you have at least 145 health for Guild battles, obtain the best obtainable shield and amulet early in the game, have at least 165 health with 10 divine and then your second set of 10 divine so you have 20 divine to use on divine monsters.
    4.Health at a minimum of 200.
1.This will ensure that you will stay alive longer in guild battles.
2.More health the longer you stay alive, but defense is more important in the long run
5.Guild leaders will periodically ask for your stats and keeps a copy to help determine what types of monsters should be summoned.
